We'll use the first week of school to get started with policies, rules, textbooks, etc. Most importantly you'll be counting and eating M&M's, and hopefully beginning to understand the difference between a sample and the population. As a general statement a larger sample size is always better, but in the real world we're usually restricted with our sample size due to time and financial constraints. We'll explore this concept in great detail, but it's never too early to get you thinking about this important concept.
